i live in a dense urban location. I received a juniper bonsai from a loved one. They probably bought it without knowing it isnt an indoor “plant.” Is it truly futile, to try and grow an indoor juniper, even if it is kept watered and has sunlight?

Correction. No self respecting juniper will last indoors all year. These species REQUIRE dormancy to live long lives. Grown indoors all year they will die within five years. DO NOT GROW JUNIPERS INDOORS!
