Is it bad for the seedling to fall out of the seed?

I’m guessing the seedling is in soil in which case it is perfectly okay. If you seedling is not in soil it could be a little tricky planting without damaging the seedling because at this stage they are very tender. If you do need to place the seedling in soil then remember to pick it up by it’s ears (leaves) and not the neck (stem). If you loose a leave it will regrow, but if you crush the stem it will kill the plant. Poke a hole in the soil and slide the root into the hole and then gently push the soil in around the root.
